You know what’s better than an engagement session at Big Fun Toy Store and 16 Bit Barcade? NOTHING, that’s what. Except maybe puppy snuggles, but that’s a debate we’ll save for another day. When asked to describe the overall theme of their wedding, Sarah & Chris answered “nerdy and romantic,” which is kismet for a unique engagement session like this!
It’s always fun looking back over a year of work for these posts. It was no different this year as I chose my best photos of 2019. Doing this allowed me to reflect on the growth and change in my business, and although it was hard, this reflection has me feeling all kinds of proud.
Brittany and Evan are huge fans of the Ohio Renaissance Festival. They go every year, each time dressed in their renaissance-era costumes. It’s their *thing*. So, when we met for the first time and they mentioned this fun fact, I just KNEW we had to do their photos at the Ren Fest. I didn’t know then, though, just how awesome they would be.
You know that moment when you wrap up a session and the giddiness consumes you because of all of the gorgeousness you just captured? Well, that was literally me after finishing Kaitlynn and Tim’s engagement photos at North Bank Park and The Keep. Swooning over these two and these gorgeous photos!
Kyla and Charlie’s Delaware, Ohio engagement photos were PERFECTION. These sun-soaked, giggle-filled, puppy-lovin’ photos are some of my favorite engagement photos of the year, so far. Plus, shooting in a new location is always a fun time!
