You know what’s better than an engagement session at Big Fun Toy Store and 16 Bit Barcade? NOTHING, that’s what. Except maybe puppy snuggles, but that’s a debate we’ll save for another day. When asked to describe the overall theme of their wedding, Sarah & Chris answered “nerdy and romantic,” which is kismet for a unique engagement session like this!
It’s always fun looking back over a year of work for these posts. It was no different this year as I chose my best photos of 2019. Doing this allowed me to reflect on the growth and change in my business, and although it was hard, this reflection has me feeling all kinds of proud.
Andreas and Zoë’s wedding at The Estate at New Albany was the perfect fall wedding, and the perfect ending to a great wedding season! From their beer-and-adventure-focused engagement session to their love-soaked wedding to their laughter-filled photo reveal, we’ve been so lucky to be a part of so many special moments with them, and each one has felt like home.
Intimate weddings are what I LIVE FOR. Maybe it’s because I had an intimate wedding myself. Or, maybe it’s because I’m able to fully immerse myself into the event and capture so much more love, energy, and excitement throughout the day. And, this is exactly what happened at Amanda and Edward’s intimate wedding at The Exchange at Bridge Park.
Brittany and Evan are huge fans of the Ohio Renaissance Festival. They go every year, each time dressed in their renaissance-era costumes. It’s their *thing*. So, when we met for the first time and they mentioned this fun fact, I just KNEW we had to do their photos at the Ren Fest. I didn’t know then, though, just how awesome they would be.
