Amanda & Edward | Married

Intimate weddings are what WE LIVE FOR. Maybe it’s because we had an intimate wedding ourselves – 35 of our favorite people in the mountains of California. Or, maybe it’s because we’re able to fully immerse ourselves into the event and capture so much more love, energy, and excitement throughout the day, because of their small size. This is exactly what happened at Amanda and Edward‘s intimate wedding at The Exchange at Bridge Park. And, we couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect for these two kind, generous, loving people.

We started the day with Amanda, as she hung out with a few friends, her mother, and Edward’s nieces. They all helped Amanda and each other get ready before her first look with Edward.

Their first look was at an adorable hidden gem along the Scioto River in Dublin. It was completely surrounded by fall colors, cattails, walking paths, foot bridges, and all the things photo dreams are made of. We could’ve stayed there all day for photos!

After the first look, we returned to The Exchange for the rest of the evening. Amanda and Edward planned a sunset ceremony, which was absolutely perfect as the sky lit up in what seemed like a thousand different colors. It was the most perfect sunset we could imagine blanketing Amanda and Edward as they were (literally) surrounded by their closest family and friends. (They set up their ceremony in a circular formation so that they were, quite literally, surrounded. It was incredible.)

After the ceremony, Amanda, Edward, and their guests enjoyed a delicious Cameron Mitchell meal, epic toasts, and a song composed just for them. There were milkshakes and a hilarious shoe game. And, there was a candle exit, during which Amanda and Edward exited the venue through a tunnel of lit candles held by their guests. It was the most beautiful way to end the day.

Amanda and Edward, thank you for sharing your wedding with us. We adore you both and feel so honored to have been even a small part of your perfect day. We wish you continued love, adventure, zoo trips, and laughs! And hope we can continue to be a part of all of those things!
