I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…Marceline and Alex are the kind of couple who feed my soul. We’d been so excited about their wedding, not just because we adore Marceline and Alex, but also because we knew their wedding at Northbank Park was going to be a dream. And, we weren’t wrong.
They both got ready at the new AC Hotel in downtown Columbus. It was our first time there and it’s a great space with a gorgeous rooftop bar overlooking the city. Of course, we had to take advantage of the rooftop for their first look. But, before that could happen, we had to break the ice a little bit. The best way to do that is with a fake first look with the groom and one of his buddies. I must say, that guy looked HOT in his wedding dress! It was definitely one of the more funny wedding day experiences we’ve had!
The rest of the day was just as awesome as the early part of the day. Marceline and Alex were, of course, so adorable all day long. Their wedding party was so fun and sweet. The venue is amazing (seriously, everyone should have a wedding at Northbank Park – those views are *chefs kiss*). We took so many fun photos, including an epic champagne spray photo with the wedding party. Marceline changed into a gorgeous glittery dress for the reception (both dresses were fire and she looked so hot all day long). They had a live band, The Floorwalkers, who kept the dance floor going ALL NIGHT LONG. Their place cards were concert tickets and the tables were named after their favorite songs. Everything was just so unique so perfectly THEM. It seriously was a dream.
Marceline and Alex, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your wedding. We’re kind of obsessed with you two and hope we can enjoy some Don Q Reserva together soon!
