Kirsten and Mike and their German Village engagement photos are the epitome of a breath of fresh air…
But, let’s start from the beginning. Kirsten and Mike met while swing dancing…yes, swing dancing! As a former dancer and a life long lover of dance, I’m kind of obsessed with that. They eventually got engaged while on a day trip to Macon, Georgia for live music and a synchronized Christmas light show. They were strolling through the plaza when they decided to sit at a picnic table to enjoy the lights. As they were chatting about life and how great a couple they are, Mike took out the ring and proposed. Coincidentally, the song playing at the time contained the lyric “Macon Dreams Come True.” Now, here we are, just weeks away from their fall themed wedding!
We decided to start their German Village engagement photos by doing what they would normally do on a date in GV…by stopping by Winan’s Chocolate for delicious drinks. We then danced (literally) our way around German Village and Schiller Park. They did a little swing dancing and a lot of cuddling. It’s amazing when two people fit together so perfectly. They were like two puzzle pieces coming together anytime they cuddled up. It was pretty awesome to watch.
Kirsten and Mike, we’re so excited to celebrate your wedding and eat s’mores with you SOON! We can’t wait for all the fun fall activities!
