Kismet. That’s what I call this chance connection with Kayla and Britt that led us to meeting just two weeks before their 10.10.20 backyard wedding.
You see, Kayla and I have a mutual friend. Antonio and I have spent the past couple of months advertising for mini sessions for our IVF fundraiser. This sweet mutual friend shared one of my posts and Kayla just happened to see it. She wasted no time reaching out. She told me her love story and how she wanted some nice photos with her love, Britt. And then, come to find out, they were getting married just a few weeks later and didn’t have a photographer! And I didn’t have a wedding! Kismet!
So, here we are, one day until their wedding! I couldn’t be more excited to join them in the beautiful backyard wedding they have planned this weekend. But, more to come on that in a later post…
So, back to their engagement photos at Bicentennial Park…
Kayla and Britt took advantage of my mini sessions as an opportunity to have some engagement photos done. And we certainly created some photo magic for them! All with only 15 minutes, gorgeous golden hour light, and a beautiful location. That might be some kind of record for us!
We talked and laughed and shared our love for beer, softball, DIY home projects, social justice, dogs, food, the list goes on. They cuddled and loved and tickled each other. And I, of course, obsessed over every second of it.
Kayla and Britt: I’m so thankful you found me. I’m honored to be a part of your next big step in life. I can’t wait to celebrate with you under the stars this weekend!
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement photos at Bicentennial Park!
