Ohhhhh friends! I’m so so so happy to be back post-quarantine! And, let me tell you, Faith and Jesse’s engagement session at The Bluestone was the perfect way to kick off a new season of photography.
Faith and Jesse were supposed to get married on June 6, 2020 at The Bluestone. Well, I’m sure you can all guess that that didn’t happen (damn ‘Rona). Canceling and rescheduling weddings is no fun. In fact, it’s stressful and sad and it just plain sucks. I’ve been there myself. That’s why I was so happy when Faith and Jesse said they’d like to honor their would-be wedding day by doing their engagement photos that day.
So, we made up for all of the stress and sadness by planning some gorgeous engagement photos for them! And, to make it even more special, we did them at The Bluestone. And, we drank Coronas. Duh.
Faith and Jesse met on Match.com and had their first date at Forno in the Short North (mmmm…pizza). Although things got off to an awkward start for Faith (she spilled food on herself AND blew out their table candle), Jesse just couldn’t stay away. He also couldn’t stay away from her during their engagement photos, but I digress…
Jesse proposed to Faith in one of the most romantic and beautiful places I’ve ever been – Santorini, Greece. Faith was enjoying their private hot tub while watching the famous Santorini sunset when Jesse snuck up and popped the question. She was completely shocked because he had convinced her that he wasn’t going to do it on that trip! She, of course, cried all the happy tears and said YES!
Faith and Jesse are two of the most kind and considerate people we’ve had the privilege of working with. They’re so genuine and happy and are truly in love with each other. I mean, look at these photos! Their love and happiness absolutely radiates!
Jesse and Faith – thank you for sharing 6.6.20 with us! We’re honored to have been a small part of that special day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again (properly, this time) in June 2021!
Here are some of my favorite photos from their engagement session at The Bluestone!
