2020 has been the year of the intimate, backyard wedding and I’m here for it. I’m pretty sure I’ve told Antonio 8,189,477 times that if I could shoot only backyard weddings for the rest of my life, I’d be happy. And if they all were as beautiful as Kayla and Britt’s, I’d be ecstatic.
Sarah & Ian’s wedding at COSI was my first “big” wedding of the year (thanks, COVID) and it was everything I’ve been missing in 2020. The couple, the wedding party, the location, the vendors, the weather, I mean it was ALL perfect and it brought me back to a sense of normalcy as a wedding photographer. Much needed!
Ohhhhhhh hot dang. It feels like forever since I’ve been able to share a wedding blog post! I mean, it has been about 9 months, which for a wedding photographer is an unusually long time. Damn COVID. So, I’m so so so so excited to share Chris and Sarah’s TWO weddings with you! Yes, I said two. Read on for double the fun!
Anyone with a reasonably good camera can take a decent photo. We know this because there are approximately 7 million Instagram influencers out there. However, 0/10 people recommend hiring anything but a pro to photograph your wedding. Your wedding day deserves a true pro. If you find yourself questioning hiring a wedding photographer, then read on, my friend.
Intimate weddings are what I LIVE FOR. Maybe it’s because I had an intimate wedding myself. Or, maybe it’s because I’m able to fully immerse myself into the event and capture so much more love, energy, and excitement throughout the day. And, this is exactly what happened at Amanda and Edward’s intimate wedding at The Exchange at Bridge Park.
