I’m always a fan of people who think outside of the box for their photos. Whether it’s a new location or an off season desire, those requests always challenge me, inspire me, and leave me feeling refreshed. Kelsey and Josh’s engagement session was no exception! Their desire to have winter engagement photos is definitely not something that is requested often, but when it is, I don’t hesitate to say yes. Although I’m not a fan of winter, I love winter engagement photos simply because they are unique, beautiful, and peaceful. Again, no exception here.
How They Met
I’ll give you one guess based on the first location of their winter engagement photos 😉
Kelsey and Josh met while attending Ohio State University. They shared many mutual friends and became friends themselves while there. However, it wasn’t until Kelsey moved away for grad school that they started dating. After reconnecting with Josh during her visits back to Columbus to see friends, the two found each other at a New Years party where they had their first kiss as the clock struck midnight. Soon after that kiss, they decided to try out a long distance relationship. It’s a good thing they gave it a shot, because here we are now, preparing for their wedding!
I can’t wait for their wedding (I love their venue and the cookie table they’re planning to have has me drooling already) and I can’t wait to follow these two as they start their married life together!
