Stephanie & Steven | Married

OMG. That’s it. That’s the blog post. (Jk…Stephanie and Steven’s wedding at The Ivory Room deserves waaayyyy more than that, because ooommmmggggg!)

Ok, so first, let’s chat about the couple of the hour…Stephanie and Steven. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This is a couple after my own heart. They’re so sweet, considerate, joyful, adventurous, full of life, laughy, dancey, funny, and just plain wonderful. I could go on and on about them, but you’ll just see all of this in the photos in a sec.

Their wedding day was just like them: perfect. I started with Stephanie and her bride’s crew at their gorgeous apartment (remember those engagement photos?!), while Antonio was with Steven at a chic hotel in downtown Columbus. While Steph and her people and I were having some hot tub fun, Antonio and Steven and his guys were watching Twilight and engaging in a heated discussion about Team Jacob v. Team Edward. (Antonio is Team Jacob, btw. I won’t tell you who I am.)

After some beautification all around, we all met up at St. John the Baptist, where they held their ceremony. It’s a gorgeous cathedral in the heart of Italian Village and the perfect place for them to exchange vows. After the ceremony, the wedding party made a pit stop at Genoa Park for photos before arriving at The Ivory Room.

The Ivory Room is where things really got hot. First, that venue is freaking gorgeous. Upper level, skyline views, so chic and modern. And, bonus, it’s a Cameron Mitchell venue so it has the best food ever. Like, the short ribs were literally the best I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. To top it off, Steph and Steven have incredible taste in beverages, so they had margaritas and froze from The Margarita Man, alongside their creative signature cocktails. *chefs kiss*

The entire night was a blur of epic dance moves, endless laughter, and copious amounts of fun. Just exactly what I like in a wedding reception.

Stephanie and Steven: thank you so much for inviting Antonio and me into your lives and your wedding. It was such an honor to be a part of your celebration, to get to know you, to dance with you, to drink with you, and to laugh with you. We hope we can do much more of that with you in the future!
