Lindsey & Matt are two of the funniest, most outgoing, and beautiful people EVER.  I knew from the moment I met them that they were perfect for me.  From their laid back attitudes to their love for beer and fun times and their plans for a Simon Kenton Inn wedding, I just knew it was a perfect match.  Oh, and then when they brought me chocolates during their engagement session?!  Dead.

The Wedding Day

We started the day at Lindsey’s parents house, where the girls got ready.  This house is the PERFECT wedding prep location, with gorgeous scenery and landscaping, and of course, special memories.  And, it didn’t hurt that the neighbors offered up their castle (literally, it was a castle) for the guys to get ready in. 😉

We chose to incorporate this beautiful tree into the bridal and groom’s portraits and the first look because of it’s significance to Lindsey.  Growing up here, Lindsey and her sister used to play in this tree.  What a special thing to share your special moments of your wedding underneath the tree in which you spent your childhood days climbing.

Oh, and Lindsey & Matt are seriously super models.  I’m almost positive that in between their day jobs and personal life, they sneak away to live a secret life of super model-dom because they were absolute naturals in front of my camera.  I mean, just look at these hotties.  I think we’re on to them…

And, their bridal party doesn’t look too bad, either 😉

The ceremony, held at Grace Lutheran Church in Springfield, was so beautiful and perfect for them.  The stained glass window made the perfect backdrop for their photos and the officiant was the perfect person to marry Lindsey & Matt since he has been a part of their family for many years.

The rest of the day was full of party bus shenanigans, dance floor domination, delicious donuts, and even a bit of a strip tease at their Simon Kenton Inn wedding reception!  Sorry to be such a tease, but I’ll be saving all of those gems for Lindsey & Matt’s eyes only 😉  You wanna see the rest of the party?  You better sweet talk the newlyweds!
