Whoa, friends! It’s been a minute! A lot has happened since my last post back in January. Most importantly? We had a baby! And, he’s the cutest thing ever. Buuutttt, that’s a post for another day. Today’s post is all about Renee and Joe’s wedding at Rockmill Brewery.

First of all, I have to show my appreciation for Renee and Joe (and their family!), as they have been SO PATIENT with receiving their wedding photos. Admittedly, I was way late delivering them. Between giving birth much earlier than expected due to an emergency induction, maternity leave, and now trying to balance the work/motherhood life with a baby not yet in daycare (dang Covid staffing issues), I’ve had a slow start back to work. Renee and Joe have been so patient, understanding, and gracious through it all and I’m so so so thankful. Eternally thankful.

Ok, back to the real reason for this post – their gorgeous wedding at Rockmill Brewery! It was intimate (my fav!), it was beautiful, it was sweet, and it was a helluva good time. Bonus: it was at one of my favorite venues. I could shoot there every day!

We started the day with their first look, during which they read their vows to each other. So sweet. The ceremony was performed by a friend and Renee and Joe’s son (the cutest little guy) made a few special appearances during the ceremony, as well. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed Johnson’s Ice Cream (my absolute favorite ice cream in the world) before settling in for the heartfelt and hilarious speeches given by their parents and siblings. After dancing the evening away, we snuck away for some photos in the most picturesque spot at the brewery. Then, the couple held a sparkler exit to end the day. And, throughout it all, Renee was a ball of smiles. So infectious.

Renee and Joe – again, thank you so much for your patience, and thank you for sharing your day with us. We loved getting to know you and your families, and we wish you all many more joyful, love-filled memories!
