Kylie and Angelo picked the perrrrrrfect time of year to do their engagement photos: SUNFLOWER SEASON! I have to admit…I’m an 80’s and 90’s kid, so sunflowers have long been an obsession of mine. So, when they said they’re planning a sunflower wedding and wanted sunflower engagement photos, my inner child screamed with joy!

Kylie and Angelo have known each other for basically forever. They went to middle school and high school together, although it took them many years to actually speak to each other! Finally, when Kylie was a sophomore and Angelo was a junior, they connected. According to Kylie,

“I was at dance practice and he was leaving lacrosse practice. He tried to be cool and throw his lacrosse stick in the air but he dropped it. I laughed at him and said ‘good catch.’ When I got home from practice he messaged me on Facebook and said, ‘it’s not nice to make fun of people.’ And the rest is history.” ❤️

How sweet is that?!

Many years later, during a celebratory family trip to Cancun, Angelo proposed to Kylie. They were taking family photos on the beach, and when it came time for photos of just the two of them, Angelo asked Kylie if she loved him. Obviously, she responded with, “Yes, of course!” So, Angelo got down on one knee and asked, “Enough to marry me?”

Swoon!!

Their sunflower engagement photos were so fun. We had a blast roaming around The Patch on 37, swinging on swings, wandering through fields of sunflowers, and taking as many photos as possible. It was the perfect evening that ended with the most perfect sunset. Just wait until you see it!
