Kelsey & Dave | Married

Kelsey and Dave’s Columbus Westin wedding was nothing short of spectacular. Elegant, rich, and authentic in every sense. From the deep colored florals to the sweet smelling eucalyptus chuppah. The black tuxedos and royal ruby dresses. The elegance of The Westin to the sophistication of the Ohio Statehouse. It was all so perfectly “Kelsey and Dave.”

I started the day at Kelsey and Dave’s house, where Dave got ready with his guys. After some puppy playtime and some football watching, I then made my way to The Westin, where Kelsey spent the morning with her bridesbabes and bridesman.

Kelsey and Dave saw each other for the first time overlooking the Columbus skyline. Despite the wind and full sun, it was the perfect location for their first look, since it demonstrates the beauty of the city they love so much.

We then met up with the bridal party at the Ohio Statehouse. This gorgeous location perfectly complimented the elegance and sophistication of the Westin, with its massive columns and gorgeous design. I always love shooting at the Statehouse, and really couldn’t imagine a couple more suited for this location!

Then, it was back to The Westin for their vows. The ballroom was decorated so beautifully with eucalyptus, rose petals, and candles lining the aisle. All of that combined with the architectural beauty of The Westin was perfection.

After some family photos against the Columbus skyline, it was time to party! The night consisted of some super emotional speeches, a bag pipe player, a hora chair dance, epic dance moves, and a tator tot bar. Basically, the best party ever.

Kelsey and Dave – thank you for sharing your engagement, your wedding planning, and your Columbus Westin wedding with me! I’m so honored you chose me to be such a huge part of this monumental time! xoxo
