‘Tis the season for goldenrod, golden hour, engagement sessions, and love! Jessica and Ali’s engagement photos at Prairie Oaks Metro Park had alllllll of these things and more (namely, their sweet and hilarious pup!).
Jessica and Ali met while they were both working at Ohio Health. She was a nurse and he was a medical intern. They were caring for a challenging patient together when Jessica complimented Ali by telling him that he did a good job and handled the situation well. She’s pretty sure it was his first compliment of his medical career! How’s that for meant to be?!
Jessica and Ali had been talking about getting married for quite some time. During the pandemic and following the death of a loved one, they realized that the time is now. In January of 2021, they went ring shopping and chose the ring together. Jessica told Ali that she didn’t want to know when the ring was ready so he could surprise her. On May 22nd, Ali woke her up early and made up a story about some random surprise activity. They drove to the Union County Airport where he surprised her with a hot air balloon ride. While 5,000 feet in the sky, he got on one knee. Ok, SWOON! This is a huge bucket list item for me, so I’m so obsessed with this story!
Jessica and Ali will be getting married in just a few short weeks surrounded by a small group of their closest friends and family. I’m SO excited to be a part of their multicultural celebration and watch these two finally tie the knot. I can only hope that their wedding day turns out just as beautiful as these gorgeous engagement photos at Prairie Oaks Metro Park! Here are some of our favorites!
