Alexis and Dexter’s engagement photos at the Scioto Mile may have been rainy, but that didn’t stop us from having a blast! We frolicked and swung on swings and climbed bridges and laughed the entire time. It’s clients like this that make my heart sing!

Alexis and Dexter met while in law school at Ohio State. While out at their cohort’s “Bar Review” (what a witty play on words for a bar hop for law students!), Dexter saw Alexis and knew he had to talk to her. So, as any OU alumnus would do, he walked up to her and started talking crap about her alma mater (OSU). He admits that wasn’t the best pick up line, but here we are, so it obviously worked!

A few years later, while on vacation with friends in South Carolina, Dexter popped the question. Their COVID escape turned into a massive celebration after Dexter proposed on their first day there. After spending the day at the beach and eating tacos for dinner, their group took a walk on the beach together. At Dexter’s cue, the group backed away and he got down on one knee. And, the rest is history!
