Photographer friends: you know that moment when you wrap up a session and the giddiness consumes you because of all of the gorgeousness you just captured? Well, that was literally me after finishing Kaitlynn and Tim’s engagement photos at North Bank Park and The Keep.

We started the session at The Keep in downtown Columbus. The Keep is the bar/restaurant in the historic LeVeque Tower. Its gorgeous architecture and design makes it the perfect place for photos, but it’s a little more meaningful to Kaitlynn and Tim.

So, let’s rewind a bit. It wasn’t too long ago that Tim surprised Kaitlynn with a tour of the top of the LeVeque Tower. The LeVeque is Kaitlynn’s favorite building in Columbus (it’s seriously gorgeous), so she was super excited for this. Little did she know that Tim would pop the question at the top of the tower overlooking the city! Talk about one hell of a proposal!

(I mean, any proposal that requires attorneys, legal documents, and insurance policies is pretty badass, amiright?!)

So, back to present day. When we began planning their engagement session, including The Keep in some way was a no brainer. So, we started their session at The Keep over a few drinks, then ventured outside for a few shots around the building. I loved the mix of historic and urban chic with these two spots!

We then made our way to North Bank Park for golden hour. This place has. it. all. Seriously, engagement photos at North Bank Park is where it’s at. Killer skyline views, water fountains, a river, a gorgeous glass building, and the perfect location for golden hour light. It’s seriously a photographer’s dream!
