You guys remember Carly and CJ? Carly’s the one I’ve known since she was born. Her parents are besties with mine. Well, guess what?! THEY GOT MARRIED! Their wedding at The Madison Event Center was so perfect and beautiful and all the lovely things.

The day began at the Hotel Covington, which is a GORGEOUS hotel across the street from The Madison. This hotel is beautifully designed, with gorgeous architectural features, unique decor, and the type of vibe that makes me want to sip a scotch on the rocks while wearing stilettos (and I NEVER do either of those things). It was the perfect place for Carly and her ladies to get ready.

We used the whiskey barrel wall in the hotel lobby as the backdrop for the Carly’s first look with her dad and Carly and CJ’s first look. We, of course, had to do a few formals with it…followed by a few shots of whiskey. It was definitely fitting, given we were in Kentucky and CJ may or may not have an affinity for whiskey.

We then hopped in a couple of Uber’s and hit up Devou Park for the formal photos. The park had a killer view of Cincinnati. And, look at those storm clouds! They definitely made for a stressful, but beautiful, 20 minutes.

After we wrapped up photos, we headed back to The Madison for family photos and the ceremony. Carly and CJ FINALLY became husband and wife!

Finally, it was time to party. Toasts, cake smashing, the shoe game, and hours of dancing were just a few of the hilarious things documented. Seriously, such a fun night with so many people I love!

Carly and CJ, I love you both like crazy and am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing your day with me. I’m honored to have been a part of your love story!
