Danielle + Devin’s wedding at The Vue in Columbus, Ohio was everything I had expected it to be. These two are seriously one of my favorite couples and I had been looking forward to their wedding for months! We hit it off immediately when we found out that we had several mutual friends from different circles. What started as a coincidence actually ended up being a blessing, as we ended up basically falling in love with each other haha. It was just one of those weddings that I never wanted to end…
Anyway, their wedding at The Vue was so perfect. The day started with Danielle and her girls getting ready in the loft at The Vue. I love this area for getting ready photos, as the skylight in the loft is the perfect light for beautiful photos.
After Danielle opened her super sweet gift from Devin (a coordinate necklace) and put on her dress and details, we hopped in the limo and drove downtown for Danielle + Devin’s first look. I think this was the first time I’ve actually cried during a first look. Watching the two of them see each other for the first time, eyes filled with tears and faces full of pure excitement, I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed myself.
We then hopped around town for some bridal portraits, groom’s portraits, and intimates before stopping at El Condado for a quick drink break before heading back to the wedding at The Vue.
The ceremony was perfect. This was the first time I’d seen this particular set up at The Vue and I especially liked the beautiful backdrop and the perfect angle of the ceremony from the balcony. I also especially LOVED the ceremony itself. Danielle, Devin, and their officiant did a wonderful job of making the ceremony perfectly “them.” I hadn’t heard such unique, meaningful, and real vows, sermons, and testimonies. It was spectacular and I wish I could remember everything that was said so that I could steal it all for my own wedding 😉
After the ceremony, we all hopped in the limo again and made our way downtown, stopping at various locations for photos of the bridal party. We had a blast in the limo, of course making time for toasts and shots in between photo stops!
As the cocktail hour wound down, we headed back to The Vue to finish up the night with the reception. Toasts were given, cake was cut, dinner was eaten, and of course, dancing was done. All of it was just perfection.
