You know those weddings where everything is just perfect? The couple is perfect. The venue is perfect. The schedule for the day is perfect. Well, that was Nick and Jarred’s wedding at Lower.com stadium (yes, the Crew stadium!!!).

First, let’s talk about Jarred and Nick. Kind, hilarious, comfortable with themselves and each other, stylish (just look at those green suits!!), considerate, cool and creative visions. They’re the ideal couple and working with them was an absolute dream.

Now, about that venue. I love shooting at new and unique places. It’s even better when it’s one of the coolest places in town – the home of THE Columbus Crew! Jarred and Nick had their ceremony on the midfield sideline, overlooking the field and the Columbus skyline. Such a cool and unique place for a ceremony. And, yes, I did sit in the Crew player’s sideline chairs, and yes, THEY’RE HEAVEN.

After the ceremony, we moved into The Field Club – a gorgeous space overlooking the field. The Field Club has so many unique decorative and architectural elements (including many subtle nods to The Crew!), as well as lots of TVs that displayed their engagement photos and a HUUUUGE TV where I surprised everyone with a quick edit of one of their ceremony photos. There are interesting lights, cool décor, a modern vibe. Add in some cool DJ lights and indoor fireworks (!!!) and it becomes the absolute perfect place for a reception. It was everything I expected from Nick and Jarred.
