Megan and Greg made the trek north from South Carolina for their Columbus, Ohio engagement photos. Originally from the area, they both thought it would be great to have photos in Columbus, since it’s a special place for them. I had a great time hopping around town with them, their pup, and Megan’s mom and sister. It was a gorgeous summer night, with a gorgeous golden hour light, and gorgeous people to top it all off.

Their Story

Megan and Greg met while in college at Kent State. Greg actually trained Megan in her campus job, and although they didn’t initially get along well, it all worked out in the end. After spending time with work friends, they began chatting and, well, one thing led to another. Here we are 5 years later preparing for their wedding!

A funny coincidence – exactly one year ago at the date of writing this, Greg proposed to Megan! They were back home in Ohio visiting family, which is exactly what Megan wanted in a proposal. They decided to take a walk at Inniswoods Gardens here in Columbus. Little did Megan know, Greg had plans for more than just a walk. As they walked through the gardens, Megan heard “their song” playing. As they turned the corner and stepped into the gazebo, Greg asked Megan to marry him.
