Kyla and Charlie‘s wedding in New Albany was my last wedding of 2020, which was definitely a bittersweet year for weddings. And, although their wedding was rescheduled and ended up being much different than originally planned, it was a beautiful celebration for this sweet couple.

We started the day with Kyla and her ladies at the hotel where they got ready. They were beautifully styled by Le Reve Makeup & Hair before heading over to the venue, The Estate at New Albany.

Once we got to The Estate, Antonio and I split up to divide and conquer. I spent the rest of the morning with Kyla while Antonio went with Charlie. They both popped bottles (literally….champagne corks flew across both rooms). Kyla had a first look with her bridesmaids and her dad while Charlie expertly navigated a wardrobe malfunction. There was so much laughter and excitement and love. It was perfect.

After they both finished getting ready, Kyla and Charlie had their first look in front of The Estate’s signature fireplace, which was gorgeously decorated by Bloomtastic. Charlie was SO SWEET with the biggest smile and, I swear, even a tear or two. Ugh, my heart.

We wrapped up the afternoon with snowy portraits around The Estate. Kyla, Charlie, and their wedding party were such troopers. It was COLD! But, it was so worth it.

Kyla and Charlie finally tied the knot at their indoor ceremony before spending the evening eating, drinking, toasting, and playing trivia with their guests. It was definitely a fun and unique way to host a reception in the time of COVID!

Kyla and Charlie, thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding. And, even more thanks for your kindness and generosity throughout our time working together. You’re both such kind people and we’re so thankful to have been a part of your engagement and wedding. We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and Buffalo Bills wins!
