When I first met with Kaitlin and Alan via Skype and they told me they live in South Carolina, I knew it was fate. You see, I was in the process of planning for a photography conference in Charleston, South Carolina and I wanted to shoot an engagement session while there. Crossing my fingers and hoping they’d book with me, I told them I’d love to photograph them while in Charleston. My wishes and dreams came true when they said YES and agreed to create some epic Charleston, South Carolina engagement photos with me!
Their Story
Kaitlin and Alan met at CVS, of all places! Not surprising, given that Katilin is a pharmacist! After dating a while, Alan popped the question on 12/16/16 in their kitchen. Although it wasn’t the elaborate beach side scene he had planned (thanks for nothing, Hurricane Matthew!), it ended up being even sweeter simply because 12/16/16 is Alan’s grandparents’ anniversary!
Their Charleston, South Carolina Engagement Photos
We met on a cute little palm tree lined cobblestone street in downtown Charleston. After wandering the street for a bit, we hopped in the car. We first stopped at Rainbow Row (how could you not?!). Then we visited the mossy oaks and the historic houses along the battery. These are the epitome of Charleston. The perfect locations for Charleston, South Carolina engagement photos.
