Karla and Nathan’s Jorgensen Farms wedding was my last wedding of 2016 and to say I went out with a bang is an understatement. The weather was perfect (although Nathan might see those as fighting words since he wore a wool suit on that nice 80 degree October “fall” day). The venue was perfect. Karla and Nathan were perfect. Their families were perfect. The decor was perfect. Basically everything and everyone was perfect.
Let’s first check out these details. Karla’s Alfred Angelo dress was STUNNING, showcasing a plunging back, a million crystal buttons, and a perfect train. The Badly Mischka shoes and BHLDN earrings paired perfectly with the classic glam style of the wedding. And the ring? OMG THAT RING. Karla’s style is flawless.
Then, there was Karla. She’s a goddess. There’s nothing that could describe her more accurately. And with that gorgeous gown?! She literally took my breath away.
And, then there was the equally stunning groom. Nathan rocked that wool suit like a boss. Seriously, so handsome.
So, let’s talk about the moment they first saw each other. Nathan’s reaction when he first saw Karla was so sweet and funny. I mean, look at that shock on his face! And what a beautiful location for them to spend a few minutes alone together before joining their families for the ceremony.
While we’re on the topic of locations, Jorgensen Farms was the perfect place for this intimate wedding. The warmth of the barn and the glowing lights and candles perfectly complimented Karla and Nathan’s choice in decor. From the handmade organic soaps to the local honey sticks to the elegant wine centerpieces and stunning Rose Bredl florals, this place was so classically gorgeous. And, so perfectly “them.”
About the ceremony. It was unbelievable. It was held in a field surrounded by flowers underneath the shade of a beautiful oak tree. The sun was setting at the perfect angle. And their bridal party consisted only of their parents and siblings. WHAT?! I just love love love that (and actually wanted to do that for my upcoming wedding, but my fiancé vetoed that. Boo.)
Karla and Nathan’s ceremony, like pretty much everything else at their Jorgensen Farms wedding, was a dream.
After the ceremony, my assistant and I set off to explore the farm with Karla and Nathan. We found a million gorgeous photo spots and created a million gorgeous photos. I mean, could they be any more perfect?
Then, it was time to party! We ended the evening with an awesome meal, flowing drinks, an epic dance party, and a final quick creative photo session to appease my photo desires. 🙂
Karla and Nathan: Thanks for sharing your engagement and your Jorgensen Farms wedding celebration with me. You made some of my wedding dreams come true, and I’ll always be thankful for that. Sending you wishes of love, adventure, exploration, and beauty for many years to come!
xoxo,
Erica
