One of the most kickass things in the world is photographing family and friends of past EKP wedding clients. So when Jenna, who is the sister of one of my former grooms, reached out to me about her and Eric’s wedding, I was so stoked. Another Lindner wedding?! Yes, please! And, bonus! Their wedding is at one of my favorite wedding venues in Columbus  – Jorgensen Farms. And when they suggested Jorgensen Farms engagement photos, the immediate response was, “oh heck yes.”

Jenna and Eric have been friends since high school. After a decade of sporadic friendship, attempts at dating each other, failed relationships with other people, and some serious life adventures, they reconnected and finally succeeded at that whole dating thing.

Their proposal story has a similar theme of unexpected delays. First, the ring was back ordered. Then, the date Eric had planned to propose was forecasted to be rainy. THEN, the penguin exhibit that he planned to incorporate into the proposal at the zoo was closed. But, just like with the dating story, everything worked out perfectly. Eric asked Jenna to marry him on a beautiful winter evening in front of a gorgeous Christmas lights display at the Columbus Zoo surrounded by both of their families. Perfection! *swoon*
