He said hello at a birthday party. She said yes in Las Vegas. And, they both said Mahal Kita while cuddling up for their Clintonville engagement photos.

Antonio and I had a blast with Jeiko and Edward, wandering through some of Clintonville’s prettiest locations. We began their session at Glen Echo Park. We strolled through tree-lined paths and danced in wide open spaces. Crossed rocky creek beds, stood under waterfalls, and climbed downed trees. And we marveled at soaring oaks and constantly swatted away mosquitos. All of this while giggling and commiserating over the woes of wedding planning.

Finally, we wrapped up their Clintonville engagement photos at some of the best murals in Columbus. This is where they taught me the phrase Mahal Kita, which means I love you in Tagalog. Seems like all I need to learn is “I’ll have a beer, please” in Tagalog and I’ll be set for my upcoming trip to the Philippines 😉
