Carly and I have known each other since she was born, and we’ve spent every summer since then at Norris Lake in Tennessee. You see, our parents are BFFs, ride or die’s, soul mates, whatever you want to call them. They have the kind of friendship that has literally stood the test of time (like, 4o years, to be exact). And 25ish of those 40 years have included group boating trips to Tennessee. Norris Lake is such a significant part of our lives that when Carly and I began talking about her photos, there was only one obvious option. Tennessee engagement photos!
So, we all loaded up the cars, grabbed the pups and donuts (Carly’s dad owns a donut shop and makes THE BEST DONUTS), and headed south for a winter weekend at the lake.
