Sometimes I photograph weddings that I wish would never end.  This wedding was one of those weddings.

This gorgeous bride, Kate, is someone so special to me.  She was my very fist student when I began teaching dance many years ago (we don’t need to discuss exactly how many years ago that was 😉 ).  I am so lucky to have watched her grow from a tiny little dancer in a purple sequined costume to the BEAUTIFUL, brilliant, inspiring woman she is today.  Then, to be able to be a part of her wedding day and witness the unbelievable love she shares with her husband, Ed?  It’s a dream come true!

A Lake Lyndsay Lodge Wedding

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Lake Lyndsay, and this was no exception!  The gorgeous, rustic venue provides the perfect backdrop for vintage inspired weddings like Kate & Ed’s.  The location mixed with some of the most brightly shining love I’ve ever witnessed as a photographer, and you get some truly spectacular photos.  Then, add to that a dash of traditional African flair, and you get THIS!
