Emma and Sasha’s wedding at Retreat 21 was a first in many ways for me. My first time at Retreat 21. My first EKP wedding of 2025. My first time pulling a tick out of a wedding dress. (Could’ve done without that one!) My first time photographing a rubber chicken “bouquet” toss. (Could do with more of that one!)

Despite that tick thing, I was seriously so happy to be a part of Emma and Sasha’s wedding day. They’re so cute – complete naturals in front of the camera. They’re so sweet – their vows were *chefs kiss*. They have the aesthetic eye of a photographer’s dream – that venue, those florals, their attire, all perfection. They’re funny, laid back, loving, and kind. All of my favorite qualities.
